Originally founded by the Lays potato chip family, the name Andeluna is a combination of Andes--where the unique, mountainous soil, water, and altitude come together--and Luna (Spanish for "moon"), being a place of inspiration and magic. Both are indispensable ingredients for the creation of a great wine.

The grapes for this wine are carefully hand-selected from vineyards located at 1300m ASL in the Uco Valley of Mendoza. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, temperature-controlled tanks. The wine does not go through malolactic fermentation or see any oak during the winemaking process.

You'll get the beautiful floral notes of a Torrontés along with a bit of mineral on the nose. On the palate, it's a clean, medium/high acid but lean fruit forward wine with peach, pear, apricot, and stone fruit; overall, very balanced. If you enjoy the aromatic and dry styles of Albariño and Riesling, you'll love exploring the Torrontés grape. AG Vinous gave this wine 90 points (if you care about that stuff). 13% ABV.
