Las Jaras, Superbloom, California 2022
Fun Fact: Superbloom is named after the wildflowers that erupt in the desert after a wetter-than-normal rainy season. They’re a sign that winter is over and warmer, happier days are ahead. We couldn't agree more.
This is a wine lover's dream, with all of our favorite Rhone Valley grape varieties in this red California blend, it's a co-ferment of unique white and red grapes with character and complexity.
Nothing has been added nor taken away from this wine during the process and it's made to highlight the uniqueness of the Love Ranch vineyard of Sierra Foothills where the grapes are grown. Strawberry and citrus fills the glass and it's medium bodied, dry, and fruit forward with watermelon and some rhubarb leading the palate. Very textured with present acidity and a mineral finish. Basically, it's a fresh and crisp wine waiting for a warm evening and a delicious meal to pair with. Serve slightly chilled.
