This is a well-crafted pecorino wine from the expert viticulturist & winemaking management of Riccardo Tiberio and his children, Antonio and Cristiana. Christina became the head winemaker of the family's winery in 2011 and is now overseeing the entire estate.
Planted in limestone soil, the minerality and structure of this wine comes from hand-harvested vines that are an average of 21 years old and at an altitude of 350 meters. It's then fermented in stainless steel with no malolactic fermentation, which results in a crisp and mouthwatering wine with flavors & aromas of floral, herb, citrus, melon and peach. It has an elegant, lingering mineral finish and a weighty palate.
Vinous gave this wine 91 points (if thats your thing!).
