Vin de Days Rouge 2021
Vin de Days Rouge 2021
In 2006, single mother, Brianne Day, took a leap of faith. She sold everything she owned, traveled through famous wine regions and gathered knowledge of viticulture that she would use to start her own winery. She took that experience and returned to Oregon with a plan, and that plan came to fruition in 2012 with Day Wines.
Starting with Pinot Noir (83%), Pinot Meunier (13%) and Pinot Gris (4%) grapes, the fermentation method on this wine yields a vibrant red fruit profile with high-toned aromas of tart cherry, cran-raspberry, and lilacs. The Pinot Noir pops with black plum, sweet thyme, hibiscus tea and strawberry on the palate, while the Meunier balances with more earthy flavors of moss and mushroom.
We suggest a slight chill on this one, preferably on a porch, backyard, or park.
